Neighborhoods
Neighborhoods
The Mary Campbell Center has four residential wings which we call neighborhoods: Charmie Lane, Comfort Zone, Farmhouse Lane and EZee Street. The neighborhood concept offers residents a sense of homelike identity and consistency in staffing support. Residents in each neighborhood meet monthly to plan activities, events, and trips. Friendly competitions between neighborhoods such as bowling tournaments and costume contests include neighborhood staff and are fun ways to promote teamwork.
Charmie Lane
In honor of Charmie Welch, who was the inspiration for the vision, concept and creation of the Mary Campbell Center.
Comfort Zone
Comfort: a feeling that is felt by both residents and their families while receiving care at The Mary Campbell Center.
Farmhouse Lane
A nod to the farmhouse and land owned by Amos, Mary and their daughter Evelyn Campbell, which eventually became the grounds for The Mary Campbell Center.
EZee Street
A skilled nursing wing dedicated and named after one of MCC’s founders, Barbara Z. Holmes.
