The Mary Campbell Center is pleased to announce Kathy Ardekani, MSW, NHA, CDP has been hired as its new Executive Director, effective January 29, 2024.
Ms. Ardekani brings with her a wealth of experience in the long-term care field, having served leadership roles in communities across southeastern Pennyslvania, most recently as President and CEO of White Horse Village. Known as a team builder and compassionate leader, in 2019 she was nominated by her colleagues and named Pennsylvania Health Care Association’s Executive Director of the Year.
“I began my career as a social worker” she reflects, “and my focus has always been trying to make life better for people.” This focus is on residents and on team members alike. “I’m excited to be part of the MCC family and look forward to working together to make a strong organization even stronger and help residents live their best lives.”
The Mary Campbell Center is a long-term intermediate care facility in Wilmington, Delaware. Founded in 1976, it operates under an ICF/IID license, providing residential care and respite services in an active treatment model. The Center also hosts a thriving Children & Youth Program, including summer camps, after-school and club activities for disabled youth and their families.
